Pool-side Summer
We’ve had a lot of fun at the neighborhood pool this summer. Last summer, our first in the neighborhood, Dilly was too young for us to really take advantage of the pool. Now that he’s a little older and a little more independent, it’s easier for all to enjoy ourselves. Cameron’s learning his way around the pool and getting more comfortable with the water. He was deathly afraid of the water slide until I made him go down it. Now he can’t get enough. Dillan loves the water and has no fear of it. He’ll walk right into deep water and he pushes away from us when we carry him around in the pool. It wouldn’t surprise me if he were swimming on his own by next summer. Joining the pool this summer was definitely money well spent.
